Hello, sorry I’ve been away for such a long time. I moved to a different apartment; one that my wife really enjoys and I enjoy it as well. It’s clean and pretty much up-to-date so I have nothing bad to say about it. Only bad thing was that I had no internet access until now and I was too lazy to go to a LAN House. I ain’t no internet junkie, the internet should come to me and not vice versa. Yea… that’s not a bad way to start a franchise. “Fast Wireless L@N House , We deliver the internet to your front door. If you want 1 hour, we’ll give you an hour. If you want 2 or more, we’ll give you a discount! Just don’t forget to leave us a tip.” YOU BETTER NOT COPY MY IDEA OR I’LL HUNT YOU DOWN! I’LL FEED YOU TO THE CHIHUAHUAS!
Anyway, I’ve been sick for almost a week. I got a horrible cold that I pretty much thought it was the A Flu. I had every single symptom besides the vomiting and the diarrhea. It started on Tuesday when I was at work, I started coughing but I was alright. On Wednesday I had a runny nose, my body ached, and I was coughing nonstop; I left work early. It kept going on like that till Friday then I started feeling cold even though the weather was warm and that’s when I really worried. I went to the hospital yesterday morning and the doctor said that I had infection in my lungs which led me to fever and all sort of body aches and back aches. He supplied me with a shitload of medications and I’m really surprised that it wasn’t expensive. I spent 17 Euros not including the appointment which was 10 Euros. He also told me that I should stay home and rest for 3 days because the medications might have some side affects such as dizziness and hallucinations. “AWESOME!” My boss wasn’t happy but I was. What is he gonna do? Fire me? HA!

Life in Lisbon for Dummies
Hello, I’m back on the blog. Sorry to keep everyone waiting for so long but I just moved to Portugal, Lisbon due to personal and school reasons and I have to say this… IT SUCKS! No offense to the Portuguese people who are reading this and please try not to get offended for the next few things that I’m going to say.
I was looking for a room to rent so I looked at the newspaper and there it said, “(translation) Nice clean room for rent, nice family with tv/cable/AC. 250 Euros/m” I took a cab down there, and it seemed to be a nice place. It was a five story building and 95% of Lisbon is built with buildings like those, and not to forget that they’re all ancient. So I rang the doorbell and an old lady came to the door. She seemed to be a pretty nice lady and all until she walked to her hallway and hit her head on a fuse box of some sort; that’s when I noticed that she was drunk. She opened the door to the room, and it was a nice big room but the furniture was quite old and the bed was a relic; but there was something missing… Something that really bothered me. Oh yea, It had no TV which meant no cable, and I couldn’t find an A/C and it surely had no central air. Another thing, she bothered to ask me how many showers me and my wife take a week so I told her a minimum of once a day. She told us that she only allows two shower a week each person so I asked her how many she took a week and she said “I take a shower once a week.”
Can you believe a person like that? How can you stand a whole week without taking a shower? I can barely stand a whole day especially during summer time but a week? It’s sad but it’s true.
Is water that expensive or is the money to buy liquor more important than spending a little more water to clean up?
I did hear that water was a little expensive but you can get some horrible health issues if you don’t take your showers once a day.
I don’t know if this is true but a friend of mine told me that most of the people here especially the old ones really do take a shower once a week. Don’t hate me for this, it’s just something that I heard.
After visiting a couple of houses, I found one which had a horrible smell of cigarettes mixed with dirt that hasn’t been cleaned up for years. It had no tv, cable, but there was no restrictions about the shower and it had a small fridge so I took it. My wife and I went to the market and bought some cleaning products and we cleaned it up as best we could.
Later that night I decided to take a shower so I had to turn on the water heater in the kitchen. As soon as I walked in the kitchen and turned on the lights, I saw something that I have never seen in my life. Something that I never thought I would see other than in the sewers… The kitchen was filled with roaches, I mean literally filled with roaches. There were roaches in on the walls, hundredths on the floor and many more on the kitchen counter. I ran back to my room and told my wife that I didn’t want to cook anything in that kitchen as long as I lived there. The bathroom is also horrible. I take my shower using my flip flops afraid to get my feet dirty inside the bathtub. After that, I ran into the supermarket and bought some roach poison and filled the room with it. That’s when I felt a little more comfortable in my room.
I have stuff to do so I gotta go but give me some time to write Life in Lisbon for Dummies part 2. I’ll also try to post some photos of Lisbon with I have time to take them. Cya!

The Name of the Wind by Patric Rothfuss
http://www.patrickrothfuss.com/content/books.asp
"My name is Kvothe, pronounced nearly the same as "quothe." Names are important as they tell you a great deal about a person. I've had more names than anyone has a right to. The Adem call me Maedre. Which, depending on how it's spoken, can mean The Flame, The Thunder, or The Broken Tree. "The Flame" is obvious if you've ever seen me. I have red hair, bright. If I had been born a couple of hundred years ago I would probably have been burned as a demon. I keep it short but it's unruly. When left to its own devices, it sticks up and makes me look as if I have been set afire. "The Thunder" I attribute to a strong baritone and a great deal of stage training at an early age. I've never thought of "The Broken Tree" as very significant. Although in retrospect, I suppose it could be considered at least partially prophetic. My first mentor called me E'lir because I was clever and I knew it. My first real lover called me Dulator because she liked the sound of it. I have been called Shadicar, Lightfinger, and Six-String. I have been called Kvothe the Bloodless, Kvothe the Arcane, and Kvothe Kingkiller. I have earned those names. Bought and paid for them. But I was brought up as Kvothe. My father once told me it meant "to know." I have, of course, been called many other things. Most of them uncouth, although very few were unearned. I have stolen princesses back from sleeping barrow kings. I burned down the town of Trebon. I have spent the night with Felurian and left with both my sanity and my life. I was expelled from the University at a younger age than most people are allowed in. I tread paths by moonlight that others fear to speak of during day. I have talked to Gods, loved women, and written songs that make the minstrels weep. You may have heard of me. So begins the tale of Kvothe—from his childhood in a troupe of traveling players, to years spent as a near-feral orphan in a crime-riddled city, to his daringly brazen yet successful bid to enter a difficult and dangerous school of magic. In these pages you will come to know Kvothe as a notorious magician, an accomplished thief, a masterful musician, and an infamous assassin. But The Name of the Wind is so much more—for the story it tells reveals the truth behind Kvothe's legend."
It's an amazing book and I loved it. I would recommend this book to everyone who loves fantasy stories, and I will say this; This book is nothing compared to the other fantasy books that ever came out. It concentrates alot on character detail which makes it great.
Take a look at it if you can.
Drum major quits after being suspended for nodding at Obama
I think suspension for nodding at the President is an absurd thing, even if it was against military protocol. I would have done the same if I was in his position and I would be proud. Imagine yourself in his position; To make eye contact with the president and get a nod from him, wouldn't that make you want to smile? Wouldn't that make you happy? Come on, Obama has the title of President of the United States of America and he's representing the whole nation.
He's a big man with the biggest responsibility in the whole nation.
I believe they suspended John Coleman due to act of jealousy.
I think John Coleman should be forgiven.
Man kills wife, five kids, himself after being fired
Another psychopath. Why would a man kill his family then himself after losing his job? Did he want to make his ex-boss feel bad about firing him or did he want to take the easy way out and take his family down with him? I don't know but I would consider this unforgiveable and I hope such a coward is receiving his punishment wherever he's at rightnow. They didn't deserve what they got from him and I'm pretty sure his wife and kids would've been better off without him.
May his family rest in peace.
Court: Christian school can expel lesbian students
This is another funny story. Two girls tried to sue a Christian school for expelling them claiming that they were being discriminated. Are they stupid or were their lawyers retarded? It's written all over the face of religion that if you break one of their rules, you're out, and there's nothing you or the law can do about it other than lowering your heads and trying to find another path to follow.
I went to a Christian school, it sucked but I had to keep everything about myself quiet. I was one of those not-so-good type of kids who also did some shameful things. If the school found out one of the bad things I did; I'm not gonna name them, I would probably be expelled.
To those people who are going to a Christian school, try to go to a public school. Try to remind your parents that their money is going to waste and you are be better off going to a public school.
Give them some examples, trust me, they'll understand and won't even think twice about it.
That's what I did.
NZ man hands US military files to American Embassy
This is some funny stuff. A man who bought an I-pod for $18 at a thrift shop and it contained military files. What are the odds of that? Plus they exchanged it with a new one. If it was me, I would've asked for a bigger reward. Maybe a new car or a new laptop. I'm pretty sure they can afford that. That man deserves it.
"In 2006, shopkeepers outside the Bagram base said they were selling flash drives with U.S. military information that had been stolen by some of the 2,000 Afghans employed as cleaners, office staff and laborers at Bagram." (Yahoo)
They hired Afghans as cleaners during such a crisis? Are they stupid or what? This is the most stupidest and dumbest thing that someone would do.
